Legendary Ford Mustang celebrates 50 years

The annual Fabulous Fords Forever (FFF) show brings the cars of the renowned American automobile company together for public viewing. But it seems that only one car is made to rule the show, Ford Mustang. Ford’s legendary car ruled this year’s FFF in California with almost 875 Mustangs on display.

The 29th FFF saw all the five generations of Mustang. People flooded to see the every bit of this iconic car which was first introduced in 1964 as convertible. Since its launch, Mustang is believed to be a car which suits everybody’s personality. More than 50 percent entries for the show were Mustang.

Available in convertible and coupe versions, Mustang has gone through six generations till now with 2015 Ford Mustang being the latest. With 50 years of success, Mustang is definitely the male among all Ford cars.

Thousands of crazy Ford fans were there to enjoy the kingship of Mustang. But there were other cars too to add colors to the show. Historical Ford F5 truck, Mercury line, Galaxie 500s, T-Birds, F-Series Trucks, Pintos, Fairlanes, Fairmonts and 1961 Lincoln Convertibles were also there to grab eyeballs. The show is celebrating the 50th anniversary of Ford Mustang along with 75th year of Mercury line and 55 years of Galaxie line.

Fabulous Fords Forever is organized by the Ford Car Club Council every year. Interestingly, the council has 40 Ford clubs and more than 200 volunteers.
