Ford Fiesta 2011 to be Unveiled Soon

The Indian unit of US based leading manufacturer, Ford India, is all set to unveil new generation Ford Fiesta in the Indian car market in the second half of July 2011. The car has previously been whispered to be launched towards 10 July; however, the company has not exposed the exact date of the launch of the car in India.

The car will be available in three variants featuring Titanium, Titanium plus, and ZXI. However, the specifications and key features of the new Fiesta are yet to be revealed by the company. However, it is sure that the car will be having improved mileage and reduced carbon emission. The Ford Fiesta 2011 is estimated to drive volume sales in the Indian market with its improved and better interior quality and a number of additional features.

Earlier, the company had launched a new edition in April 2011of the car – Fiesta Classic. It is expected that with the launch of a new generation version, the Fiesta series of cars will be able to compete more promptly and swiftly with rivals like Hyundai Verna, Maruti Swift Dzire, Toyota Etios, Volkswagen Vento and Fiat Linea.

For the time being, Ford India is gearing-up to develop its portfolio in the Indian auto market with launch of five new car models in the country over the period of next few years.
