Mitsubishi Motors in collaboration with its Indian partner � Hindustan Motors, introduced Pajero to the Indian market in March 2002. as per the performance, the 2.8-litre, 8-valve, Single Overhead Camshaft (SOHC), turbo-charged and intercooled diesel engine cranks out 117 bhp of power at 4,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 292 Nm at 2,000 rpm. This exhilarating engine generates a stupendous power that shoots the Pajero to a maximum speed of 150 km/h. Also due to the powerful engine, the SUV clocks from 0 to 100 km/h in just 17 seconds, delivering a mileage of 8km/l on city roads and 11 km/l on highways. As far as the exterior is concerned, Pajero has a body-on-ladder design that lend it masculine appeal, silver � colored bumpers, running across the body garnish the doors, the chrome handles and side mirrors add a touch of gloss to the entire vehicle.
