Maybach Cars in India

Maybach, a German luxury car-maker owned by Daimler AG (owner of Mercedes series) was initially founded in 1909 by Wilhelm Maybach and his son, and was known as Luftfahrzeug-Motorenbau GmbH until 1912. Later, it was named Maybach and was known for its ultra-luxury cars.
In late 2011, Daimler announced that Maybach will cease to be a brand by 2013 and manufactured the last Maybach vehicle in December 2012 owing to declining sales. Only 3,000 cars were sold since the brand's revival in 2002.
