The all new Yamaha YZF R1 motorcycle launched by Yamaha Motor Corporation is a powerful yet light machine packed up with a trickle-down MotoGP trickey that is considered the most advanced open-class production motorcycle ever built. Power packed with a new inline 4-cylinder engine, it has got the most powerful, tractable R1 power-plant ever built with the help of the world's first electronic variable length intake funnel system. To ensure flawless response under all conditions, Yamaha YZF R1 uses the YCC-T fly-by-wire throttle system. For braking/downshifting from high speeds, it has also got slipper- type back torque limiting clutch.
