Kinetic 4S scooterette, launched by Kinetic Motor Company Ltd has come up as a descendant of the iconic Kinetic scooter that became popularly synonymous with the Indian gearless scooter segment. The Kinetic 4S addresses the needs of the city commuter very well and is a modified version of the 2-stroke Kinetic Zoom. Loaded with a 4-stroke, air-cooled, single-cylinder 113.5 cc engine, this scooterette delivers a maximum power of 7.2 bhp @ 7500 rpm and a maximum torque of 7.7 Nm @ 5000 rpm. This

machine's engine comes up with dual-mode ignition timing and variomatic (gearless) transmission, one for maximum fuel efficiency and the other for sudden bursts of power.

While the styling of Kinetic 4S seems to be inspired by the original design of Kinetic Zoom, sincere efforts have been made to make it visually more appealing. Turn indicators and headlamps have been done away in clear lens type glass, the speedometer is a new addition and it comes decked up in a new set of decals and styling touches for the body panel. Its refined and technologically advanced engine is very fuel-efficient and delivers a mileage of 55 kmpl. As standard fitments it is also offering puncture resistant tyres and a spare 'stepney' tire. And last but not the least, its low center of gravity ensures a stable ride.
