The First Motorcycle Launch in India
The year 1955 marked the entry of the 350 cc 'Bullet', the first motorcycle in India, manufactured by the Royal Enfield Company of the UK. The motorcycle was assembled in Chennai. Primarily solely meant for use by the Indian Army and Police department, soon the Bullet found its place inside the Indian homes.
