Despite the colossal exertion by Tata Motors to make its impression at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show, Nissan Micra was the show stealer. Pulling the covers off the Micra, touted as the most Eco – friendly and user – oriented car in the global market, Nissan’s Chief Executive, Carlos
Ghosn revealed that this new global compact car will be moving it production out of the established markets like Europe and Japan, the new smallie will roll out of five plants, the more vitally, low cost production hubs – Thailand, India, Mexico, China and one other as yet unspecified location.
While talking about the engine options, this hatchback will come with a 1.2 liter, three – cylinder engine that will churn out 80PS power and 108Nm of torque. Nissan’s engineering efforts to please the Indian market also includes a revamped suspension that will help the agile V-platform based car to remain composed over poor road surfaces. Offering a turning radius of 4.5 meters, the Micra will be available with reversing sensors to reduce the burden of parking in tight spaces. With a maximum speed of 140 Kmph, Micra is expected to compete in the B-plus segment in India, which includes Maruti Suzuki’s Swift and Hyundai’s i20.

Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It’s very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.
