Honda Shine world’s bestselling 125cc bike

Honda CB Shine, the 125cc bike from the Japanese automobile company has become the world’s bestselling bike in 125cc segment. The company has sold 30 lakh units of the bike and it’s the first bike to achieve this landmark in India.

The Honda India celebrated CB Shine’s 30th lakh unit at its Rajasthan plant. The CB Shine has become Honda’s global bestselling bike and the largest selling bike in India in this segment. The bike was first launched in April 2006 in the country. Honda sold its first 10 lakh units till Oct 2010 in a stiff Indian market and doubled the sales figure in the next nearly four years.

CB Shine proved to be a clear winner in the segment against its rival Bajaj Discover DTSi. Shine stands decent on looks but high on performance and reliability. Graphics on fuel tank, 125cc single cylinder air-cool engine to produce 10.12hp power, Hydraulic suspension at front and rear, four-speed gearbox and 18-inch wheels gives you a stable and comfortable ride.

CB Shine claims to give a mileage of 65kmpl. It comes in five colors including Blackand weighs 120 kg. CB Shine is the bike of a common man who dreams to ride an efficient yet stylish bike which doesn’t seize pocket. The CB Shine costs around Rs 50,000.
