The world's sixth largest car maker, Fiat, stepped in the Indian market in 1994 with Fiat 500 followed by Fiat 1100 and Padmini. since the company could not gain much success with its models like siena and palio, it entered into a joint venture with Tata Motors on January 2, 1997 and since then has been delivering high quality services and products like fiat Punto and Grande Punto.
