Hyundai's Satntro Xing which stepped into the Indian market in 2003 and since then had been the lord of the roads until i10 recently replaced it. Accompanied by a 1086 cc in – line 4 cylinder engine and 5 – speed manual transmission, this hatchback generates a maximum power of 62 bhp at 5500 rpm and 96 Nm of torque at 4000 rpm. Delivering an approximate mileage of 17 kmpl on highways and 14 kmpl on city roads, this vehicle is steady on the road even at a top speed of 145 kmph. Owing to an overall height and width of 1590 mm and 1525 mm respectively, Santro Xing easily accomodates 5 people. Fog lamps not availabe with topend model. Smooth driving.especially gearshift marvellous Zero maintainace ,Using for 2 years, no complaints yet.
