Tata Indigo SX is available in India in both petrol as well as diesel engine options.
The petrol version of Tata Indigo SX comes with a 32 bit microprocessor MPFI petrol engine that delivers a power of about 85 PS @ 5500 rpm and generates a maximum torque of about 11 kgm @ 3000 rpm. The diesel version of the car comes with a turbocharged indirect injection diesel engine that delivers a power of 70 PS @ 4500 rpm and generates a maximum torque of about 13.5 kgm @ 2500 rpm. Both the engines have displacement of 1405 cc.The front suspension of Tata Indigo SX has independent McPherson strut and anti roll bar. The rear suspension has independent 3 link McPherson strut along with anti roll bar. Tata Indigo SX comes with vacuum assisted dual circuit braking system. The car has disc brakes at he front and drum brakes at the rear.
