The JD Power Asia Pacific, a widely respected research group recently released India Sales Satisfaction Study for 2006, (http://www.jdpower.com/corporate /news/releases/pressrelease.asp?ID=2006140) according to which Maruti Suzukiproduced a superb encore of last year's performance and topped the charts for a third consecutive year. Maruti Suzuki's repeated success may be attributed to its fair share of loyal customers for whom the brand remains the first preference even while considering their second or their third car. |
The market research involved opinions of 4,562 car owners. The criteria set for the performance were delivery process, dealer facility, delivery timing, paper work and salesperson. On a scale of 1000, Maruti Suzukigarnered 795 points while Skoda secured 784 points. For Skoda this was a remarkable achievement since it had ranked 8th in the similar research released in 2005. Hyundai followed at the third position with 771 points.
