The largest passenger car manufacturer in India, Maruti Udyog has two of its plants located in this state. Haryana is an economically developed state having many renowned companies like Hero Honda, Whirlpool India, Escorts and Bharti Telecom having their bases here. Automobiles are produced in large numbers in Haryana and the state is regarded as a lucrative market as there has been a considerable increase in demand for quality cars.
