Maruti Omni comes with a 6 valve, 3 cylinder 4 stroke,water cooled engine that has a displacement of 796 cc. The engine of Maruti Omni delivers a maximum power of about 35 bhp @ 5000 rpm and generates a maximum torque of about 6.1 kgm @ 3000 rpm. The MUV has got booster assisted disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear. The vehicle comes with a fuel tank capacity of 36 liters and has a minimum turning radius of 4.1m. Maruti Omni has a manual transmission system that comes with 4 forward gears with all synchromesh and 1 reverse gear. The overall length, width and height of Maruti Omni is about 3370 mm, 1410 mm and 1640 mm respectively. The MUV has got a wheelbase of 1840 mm and a minimum ground clearance of 165 mm.
