Jaguar XFR

The new Jaguar XFR is athletic, taut and elegant at the same time. It has a muscular built and Ed shape that gives the car a confident stance and sense of power. The body structure is light but exceptionally rigid- with the strength to provide outstanding safety credentials and the stiffness to carry a suspension whose balance of comfort and control was honed by intensive Jaguar development. An aerodynamic bodyshell reduces drag and wind noise. And its sure V8 power train, tuned exhaust, and an array of performance and handling aids connect the car to the road.

The car has large 20-inch wheels and a lower ride height that suggests a more aggressive suspension set-up and keeps up with Jag's usual formula for their R-Spec cars. Any changes to the front fascia of this XFR prototype are very subtle, and may be limited to this car's blacked-out grille mesh. Jaguar has a super powered 4.2 liter V-8 engine that produces about 500 horsepower in the XFR. It matches some of the best engines like BMW, Audi and the Mercedes AMG. The long-rumored, range-topping XFR plus may have a new 5.0 liter engine and could have a horsepower of 600 hp. The interiors are very retro and chic. There is less of the chrome shade speed-rated rubber.

Jaguar's supercharged 4.2-liter V-8 produces about 500 horsepower in the XFR, basically matching some of the hottest metal from BMW, Audi and Mercedes AMG.

The model will have cross-drilled rotors, the same wheels, and a makeshift quad-pipe exhaust configuration
