General Motors (GM) , the top automobile company from the US so far has maintained a limited profile in the Indian automobile sector. However, with the recent launch of Chevrolet Aveo U-VA , the company intends to make its mark on Indian consumers. GM offers the Chevrolet Aveo U-VA in three variants namely Aveo U-VA 1.2, Aveo U-VA 1.2 LS, Aveo U-VA 1.2 LT. The company has positioned its Chevrolet Aveo against the likes of Maruti Swift, Tata Indigo, Ford Fiesta 1.4 SXi Duratorq and Hyundai Getz, the other popular cars in the mid sized car segment in India .Talking of features of Chevrolet Aveo U-VA ,

it is quipped with a 1.2 L SOHC engine, the car claims to deliver a 10.6 kmpl mileage that is quite satisfying in the Indian city conditions while on highways and expressways, it provides for a 15kmpl mileage.The ventilated disc front brakes and self-adjusting drum brakes in the rear are quite effective. The front suspension of Chevrolet Aveo U-VA Mcpherson struts with anti torsion roll bars and torsion beam rear suspension along with hydraulic and gas filled front and rear shock absorbers provide for fair stability to the car on the move.
