Madhya Pradesh is located in Central India. The capital of this state is Bhopal. Initially, it was the largest state of the country. However, in 2000, another state called Chhattisgarh was formed out of it. Thus reducing its area per sq km. Madhya Pradesh is also known as the Heart of India.
