Daman and Diu is one of the smallest Union Territory of India. It was incorporated into the Republic of India in 1961. Previous to that, this place was ruled by the Portuguese and along with Goa and Dadra and Nagar Haveli, this was part of Portuguese India.
The automobile industry has not gained any importance at all in this place. They are yet to enter the market and create a standing of their own. This place has not been commercialized yet and hence the auto industry has not flourished here till now.
